We fell in love with Santa Teresa in 2008, the lifestyle, consistent surf, and yoga community consumed our hearts and we were forever changed. For the first few years we would travel back & forth from the U.S. eventually rooting down in Costa Rica full time.
Our passions lie in sharing the magic of Santa Teresa with our clients, creating unforgettable vacations and moments to last a lifetime.
Mikey
Mikey’s passion for surfing started at the young age of 12 in Virginia Beach.
He has since turned his passion for the water into a lifestyle sharing his love through group and private surf lessons.
Mikey is CPR certified and has taught all ages and levels to respect the ocean and enjoy the ride.
Jessica
Jessica fell in love with her yoga practice after a move across the U.S. to San Diego, California.
There, she began a daily practice, which slowly began to transform her body & mind into a space of clarity and peace.
Jessica completed her 200-hour training at CorePower Yoga in Pacific Beach, CA. While in Costa Rica, she completed additional trainings at the Pavones Yoga Center, and is recognized as an E-RYT 200, RYT 500 yoga instructor, certified by the Yoga Alliance.
Together, we have catered to guests from all over the World, and have given them the taste of the Pura Vida lifestyle; they have had nothing but good things to say….

Our host, Mikey was incredibly accommodating and supportive. The vistas have left indelible marks of tranquility in our memories... truly a retreat space away from the hustle of Santa Teresa and yet so close to all of it.
Mikey and Jess are great. They are extremely helpful and kind. The private yoga lesson I had with Jess was superb. The setting itself immediately creates a serene atmosphere and Jess' instructions were clear, calm, and very helpful.
Casa Toucanet is perfect. The house is spacious with two great balconies to watch the wildlife of the jungle around you. The caretakers, Mikey and Jess, make your stay especially special and we really appreciated all their help.
This is simply a beautiful, relaxing, clean modern home with spectacular views and a wonderfully kind and helpful caretaker. Our family of four - two adults and two kids, ages 5 and 8, were sad to leave this little piece of paradise.
